Commissioning a landscape painting is a fun and exciting process. If you have a high resolution image I may be able to use that. It's also possible for me to travel to your location to take reference images and also do some sketching/painting from life to get started on your piece. You will preview it to be sure all details are to your satisfaction. Here are some pieces I've done for clients around the country.

This family from Alabama moves every few years for professional reasons and enjoys having their home painted to hang in their next destination. The childrens's sports equipment leans against the tree.

This painting was commissioned by the three children who are now young adults. The family was moving from their cherished home near to Walden Pond and this was a gift to their parents.

A commission for a Wellesley College graduate who fondly remembered her days at the gorgeous pond. Here is a snapshot of it that she sent me once she had it framed in New York.
